Alexis Anica, known as GODSPEED, is a DJ and producer driven by the relentless energy of The Speed of Life. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Alexis first fell in love with electronic music at 19 after witnessing Subtronics play direct support for Ganja White Night on THE ONE TOUR in 2019. That night sparked an obsession not just with dubstep, but with the entire world of EDM and its core values of PLUR (Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect).A naturally curious mind, Alexis became fascinated with sound design and music production while attending UNLV in 2021. DJing was the natural progression and inspired by Blackbox!In October 2023, Alexis stepped on stage for the first time, at Backstage Bar & Billiards.
GODSPEED B2B BLACKBOX delivered an electrifying performance in December 2024.
In May 2025, Alexis achieved a significant milestone by performing at EDC Las Vegas at the Kandies World Stage. This performance marked a defining moment in the GODSPEED journey, bringing the fusion of bass, hardstyle, and techno to one of the world's premier electronic music festivals.In 2026, GODSPEED has taken over some notable venues (and sound systems) in Las Vegas including Audio Bar, The Gryffin, and even Discopussy!The story is still being written. This is only the beginning.
